In what's become a running theme this season, the Winter Haven Blue Devils gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They breezed by West Orange at home to the tune of 70-31. The win was nothing new for Winter Haven as they're now sitting on five straight.
Winter Haven found their leader in underclassman Serenity Hardy, who scored 26 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Hardy has scored at least a third of Winter Haven's points. Dashanique Henry was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Winter Haven's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for West Orange, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Winter Haven does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Orange and Colonial will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Colonial will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
