Obie Taylor put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Solebury is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-5 otherwise. Taylor was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Bryan Bassler and Jackson Freer stepped up to the plate in a big way. Bassler went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Freer got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
