On Friday, the Upson-Lee Knights kept a clean sheet against the Crawford County Eagles. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Upson-Lee.
They hit Crawford County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Kiersten Peoples,
Itzel Ventura, and
SarahKate Bennett.
Upson-Lee now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Crawford County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Upson-Lee didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win vs. Griffin on the 10th. Crawford County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 27th.
