Brody Mathis was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Austin Rogers was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Jaiden Palmer was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Fultondale's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-12. As for Tarrant, they are on a 43-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
