Make it six blowout wins for the Tonasket Tigers this season. They breezed by Oroville at home to the tune of 79-35. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 51-20.
Tonasket got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tanner Tompkins out in front who scored 18 points along with five assists and four steals. Isaiah Spangler was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine steals and five assists.
The win makes it two in a row for Tonasket and bumps their season record up to 10-7. As for Oroville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Tonasket will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Brewster at 7:30 p.m. As for Oroville, they will head out on the road to challenge Manson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
