The Gowanda Panthers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They secured a 43-38 W over The Park School of Buffalo.
The Park School of Buffalo's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ella Tasca, who scored 19 points, and Amarie Berrios who scored 15 points.
Gowanda's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for The Park School of Buffalo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Gowanda will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jamestown at 1:03 p.m. on December 28th. As for The Park School of Buffalo, they will head out on the road to face off against North Collins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
