 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Kenzie Gatti, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Triway's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 25-2. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.
