With a playoff game on the line, the KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Panthers rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on Sutton with a sharp 46-20 win. The result was nothing new for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, who have now won three matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Defeat or not, Sutton got some senior leadership from Landon Dulmaine who picked up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown and Josh Farrell who gained 80 total yards and a touchdown. Dulmaine was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 60 yards.
KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.0 points per game. As for Sutton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate will take on Carver at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Carver has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 353 points over their last eight contests. As for Sutton, they will head out on the road to face off against Millbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Massachusetts (Millbury is ranked 180th, while Sutton is ranked 196th).
