Adding to the longest winning streak in A Region 4 this week, Killdeer/Halliday beat Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] 57-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Cowboys.
Killdeer/Halliday led the league in scoring this week by notching 57 points on the Cougars.
Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky]'s offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hunter Jacobs has thrown for 276 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Tanner Freeman has 9 catches for 137 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Garrison/Max takes on Chuck Wagner's team. The Troopers are currently in fifth, while the Cowboys are in first.
New Salem/Glen Ullin made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,448 from 11,569. The improvement was the result of a 56-0 victory over Garrison/Max last week.
