Brillion extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Emma Schuh. The Brillion Lions managed a 45-40 win over the Algoma Wolves on Friday thanks in part to Schuh, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times she's played.

Brillion pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Algoma, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brillion will venture away from home to face off against St. Mary Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in St. Mary Catholic's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Algoma, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gibraltar at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
