The Kenesaw Blue Devils won the last time they faced the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders, and things went their way on Thursday too. Kenesaw came out on top against Lawrence-Nelson by a score of 47-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kenesaw.
Leading Kenesaw to victory were Maddox Wagoner and Jravin Suck. Wagoner scored 13 points along with two steals, while Suck scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Suck has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Blake Steer, who scored seven points along with two blocks.
Kenesaw's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11. As for Lawrence-Nelson, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.
Kenesaw will head out on the road to take on Bertrand at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lawrence-Nelson, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Superior on February 9th. Lawrence-Nelson is facing Superior at the right time seeing as Superior is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
