The St. Patrick Fighting Irish's's road trip will continue as they head out to face the West Harrison Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, St. Patrick strolled past Bowling Green with points to spare, taking the game 56-41.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Patrick to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brendan Moton, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Moton has scored at least 25% of St. Patrick's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Hewes, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, West Harrison had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They took down St. Martin 46-31. Given West Harrison's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while St. Martin is ranked 257th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
St. Patrick's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for West Harrison, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
