Lowery wasn't the only one making solid contact: Buford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Union Academy only managed seven hits.
Legion Collegiate Academy's record is now 14-8. As for Buford, their record now sits at 13-5.
Legion Collegiate Academy skirted past Buford 5-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
