St. John Bosco had won seven straight games and Koa Malau'ulu did his part to make it eight on Friday. The Braves came out on top against the Santa Margarita Eagles by a score of 27-14 with plenty of help from Malau'ulu, who threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played.
One reason for the win was St. John Bosco's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Leading the way was Dutch Horisk with three.
