In what's become a running theme this season, the Fairfield Central Griffins gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past Chester 64-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Fairfield Central has posted since December 8, 2023.
Fairfield Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordyn Adams out in front who scored 26 points along with seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Adams has scored at least a third of Fairfield Central's points. Jazzlyn McMillan was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with nine rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Fairfield Central and bumps their season record up to 8-9. As for Chester, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-8.
Fairfield Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Columbia is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Chester, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Woodruff at 6:00 p.m.
