Richmond Heights will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Brush is ranked 44th).
In what's become a running theme this season, Richmond Heights gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They put the hurt on Shaker Heights with a sharp 61-39 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Richmond Heights has posted since December 5, 2023.
Meanwhile, Brush's game on Monday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy 50-36 victory over Fairmont.
Richmond Heights pushed their record up to 10-1 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.75 points. Brush's record is now 16-2.
Richmond Heights came up short against Brush in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 45-41. Can Richmond Heights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
