Airline proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Airline pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Evangel Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Airline has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Huntington on the 8th. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-0 defeat against Natchitoches Central on the 8th.
