Franklin Central secured a 41-36 W over Plainfield on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Franklin Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Franklin Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lily Graves out in front who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Riley Huotari, who scored nine points along with two blocks.
Franklin Central's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Plainfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Central will challenge Noblesville at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Noblesville is on a five-game streak of home wins, Franklin Central a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Plainfield will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Mooresville at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Mooresville is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.2 points per game.
