The Glenpool Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Nathan Hale Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Glenpool blew past Harrah, posting a 53-23 victory at home. 53 seems to be a good number for Glenpool as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Nathan Hale didn't have too much trouble with Webster on the road on Friday as they won 68-49. Given Nathan Hale's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Webster is ranked 378th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
The win makes it two in a row for Glenpool and bumps their season record up to 10-8. As for Nathan Hale, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Glenpool skirted past Nathan Hale 64-61 when the teams last played back in February of 2018. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Nathan Hale's RayQuan Elliott, who scored 24 points. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be that much easier for Glenpool to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
