DeMatha is on a ten-game streak of home wins, while Bishop O'Connell is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Stags will welcome the Knights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jackson Steuart looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Wentworth got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Perlin got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Wentworth has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Brown, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Meanwhile, Bishop O'Connell won against Bishop Ireton on Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Knights beat Bishop McNamara by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-1.
