On Thursday Ouachita Christian will take on St. Frederick at 7:00 PM. St. Frederick will need to watch out since Ouachita Christian have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Last Friday, Ouachita Christian put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the contest and then some with a 56-0 victory over Tensas. Among those leading the charge for Ouachita Christian was junior Will Fitzhugh, who rushed for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns. Fitzhugh has now scored at least one touchdown in the past eight games.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for St. Frederick and Delta Charter, but St. Frederick stepped up in the second half. St. Frederick secured a 31-26 W over Delta Charter. The win was familiar territory for St. Frederick, who now have three in a row.
Ouachita Christian were able to grind out a solid victory over St. Frederick the last time the two teams met, winning 26-16. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
