West Logan Christian Academy had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 63-62 to Tolsia.
Meanwhile, Teays Valley Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They were the victim of a tough 93-67 loss at the hands of Wheeling Park.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Eli Pendleton, who scored 24 points along with 7 rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Maki Cary, who scored 21 points along with 8 assists.
West Logan Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Teays Valley Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
West Logan Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Teays Valley Christian in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 64-58 win.
