The Forsyth Panthers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Willow Springs Bears at 7:00 p.m. Forsyth will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
Forsyth put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 65-35 victory over Central. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
It was another big night for Rolly Fisher, who rushed for 133 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Braxton Gross was another key contributor, rushing for 122 yards on only 12 carries.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Willow Springs, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They took a serious blow against Ava on Thursday, falling 73-0. While losing is never fun, Willow Springs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 295th, while Ava is ranked 57th).
Forsyth has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Willow Springs, their loss was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
