Drew Slomkowski gave up the fewest hits he has since back in May of 2024 on Monday. West Orange had no answer to Slomkowski as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over 6.2 innings pitched. Slomkowski is becoming a predictor of Nutley's success: when he allows at most three hits the team is 2-1 (and 9-10 when he doesn't).
