Lawrence County took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over Ardmore. While the Red Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 23-32-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Bella Cross spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
