If the Timberline Wolves were feeling good off their 51-28 takedown of the Meridian Warriors on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Timberline fell 45-35 to Middleton on Saturday. Timberline was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Middleton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Middleton was led to victory by Miley Steele and Zoey Blackwell. Steele scored nine points along with three blocks, while Blackwell scored 13 points along with six rebounds. The game was Blackwell's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aysha Fried, who scored six points.
Timberline's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Middleton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Mountain View the next time they take the court. Middleton will host Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Timberline will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
