Northland scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 71-36 defeat at the hands of the Columbus International Lions. The loss leaves the Vikings without a win on the season.

Leila Carter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Columbus International, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 15 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Carter has scored at least a third of Columbus International's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marley Benson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards.

Northland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Columbus International, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Northland will face off against Mifflin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northland is facing Mifflin at the right time seeing as Mifflin is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Columbus International, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 51-32 victory against Westerville North on the 11th.
