The Purchase Line Red Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Purchase Line focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, it was a hard-fought game, but Purchase Line had to settle for a 52-50 defeat against Ligonier Valley. Purchase Line has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brock Small, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakob Mountain, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Conemaugh Valley took their matchup at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 66-38 win over Blacklick Valley. The win made it back-to-back wins for Conemaugh Valley.
The losses dropped Purchase Line to 0-2 and Ligonier Valley to 1-1.
