The Silverdale Academy Seahawks will head out on the road to face off against the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Silverdale Academy is ranked 174th, while Christian Academy of Knoxville is ranked 156th).
Even though Grace Christian Academy scored an imposing 35 points on Friday, Silverdale Academy still came out on top. Silverdale Academy took their contest against Grace Christian Academy 42-35. 42 seems to be a good number for Silverdale Academy as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Caleb Greco was on fire: he rushed for 197 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. Landon Deitch was in the mix too, providing Silverdale Academy with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Christian Academy of Knoxville brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They pulled ahead with a 50-49 photo finish over Notre Dame. The victory was just what Christian Academy of Knoxville needed coming off of a 41-7 defeat in their prior contest.
Silverdale Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Silverdale Academy beat Christian Academy of Knoxville 33-20 when the teams last played back in October of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Silverdale Academy since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
