Braymer is 9-1 against the Dragons since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Braymer Bobcats will take on the Tina-Avalon Dragons at 8:30 p.m. Braymer will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Braymer was able to grind out a solid win over the Panthers, taking the game 48-41. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Braymer has scored all season.
Braymer got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dakota Brandon out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Brandon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Jordan Haley was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Tina-Avalon was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 45-44 to the Eagles. Tina-Avalon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Braymer's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.4 points per game. As for Tina-Avalon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Braymer took their victory against the Dragons when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 75-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Braymer since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
