Jennings have been struggling to pick up a victory, with their contest against St. Louis Catholic last Thursday making it three winless games in a row. Jennings took a 14-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Louis Catholic.
As for Clayton, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, they brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They walked away with a 48-36 win over Affton. Maybe the Clayton offense has finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance is a 180-degree turn from their last 4 games.
Clayton's victory lifted them to 5-4 while Jennings's defeat dropped them down to 3-5. We'll see if Clayton can repeat their recent success or if Jennings bounce back and reverse their fortune.
