The win was the seventh in a row for The First Academy, bringing their record up to 21-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Space Coast, they dropped their record down to 11-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Looking ahead, The First Academy will challenge Trinity Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Space Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
