Wilson Medina's Big Game Leads Sherwood over Mcminnville
Starting off the list is Sherwood's Wilson Medina, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Medina rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
The win was the fourth in a row for Sherwood, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Medina and Sherwood will challenge Liberty on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Andrew Waletich Leads Sherwood over Mcminnville
Sherwood was led to victory by Andrew Waletich, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Waletich rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 62 yards.
If the past is any indication, Waletich could be in store for another big game when he takes on Liberty on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Waletich saw the Falcons), he rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown.

Century's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Hussein Kamel
Thanks in part to Hussein Kamel, Century said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Nobody could stop Kamel on Friday as he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
