Forestview is 9-1 against South Point since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Forestview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
Forestview took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Ashbrook as they made off with a 17-2 win. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Forestview got a massive performance out of Sophia Green, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. That's the most runs Green has posted since back in March. Kaitlyn Baker was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Forestview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.9 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 10.4.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for South Point's offense. They lost 10-0 to Kings Mountain on Tuesday. The Red Raiders have struggled against the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
South Point's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Forestview, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Forestview hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .381. However, it's not like South Point struggles in that department as they've averaged .434. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Forestview suffered a grim 19-4 defeat to South Point in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Jaguars have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
