The McCutcheon Mavericks will challenge the Brownsburg Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McCutcheon will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Brownsburg's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: McCutcheon hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Mavericks didn't even let Seeger on the board on Monday, marking the Mavericks' second-straight 11-0 shutout.

Reed Grimes tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over 6.1 innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sam Swank, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Aiden Riser was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
McCutcheon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 6-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Brownsburg was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 7-1 to Noblesville. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Millers: they've now lost six in a row.
Brownsburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Canyon Koonce, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
McCutcheon's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Brownsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. McCutcheon has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Brownsburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
McCutcheon suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Brownsburg in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Can the Mavericks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
