In what's become a running theme this season, the Terrell County Greenwave gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Miller County 63-34 at home. The win was nothing new for Terrell County as they're now sitting on three straight.
Terrell County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tadreuna Rogers out in front who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rogers has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jada Rushing, who scored 12 points.
Miller County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Cratic, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Jayla Riggins was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Terrell County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Miller County, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Terrell County will head out on the road to take on Quitman County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Quitman County has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 10. As for Miller County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Randolph-Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
