The Inspired Vision EAGLES can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 49-41 victory over A Plus Academy. The win was just what Inspired Vision needed coming off of a 78-15 defeat in their prior match.
Tyree Sheffield was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Inspired Vision's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Obed Faz, who scored eight points.
Inspired Vision's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-18. As for A Plus Academy, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.
Inspired Vision's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Gateway Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Texas (Gateway Charter Academy is ranked 1420th, while Inspired Vision is ranked 1413th). As for A Plus Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Trinity Leadership at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Leadership has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 618 points over their last eight games.
