Monroe had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Arlington Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Bearcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Monroe's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Arlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Monroe will venture away from home to face off against Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arlington, they will welcome Mountlake Terrace at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
