Lodi will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Chavez at Grape Bowl at 5:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Lodi had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Central Valley 8-7.
Meanwhile, Chavez were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Valley 52-0. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-0.
Their wins bumped Chavez to 2-0 and Lodi to 1-0. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Watch the game and check back in with MaxPreps for details.
