The Crest Chargers entered their tilt with the Forestview Jaguars with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. Crest blew past Forestview 81-60. Crest has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.
Crest got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was King Rhodes out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Rhodes hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Adams, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Forestview's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Helton, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Dashawn Patton was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Crest pushed their record up to 13-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Forestview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crest will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Huss at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. One thing working in Crest's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 contests. As for Forestview, they will head out on the road to face off against South Point at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
