Isaac Devine posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in March of 2024.

Devine's strong effort led Overhills over E.E. Smith and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. E.E. Smith is limping into the matchup having lost eight straight at home dating back to last season.
