There's no place like home for Cape Fear, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Wednesday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Ashley Screaming Eagle  on Tuesday.
 Cape Fear walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 24-26,  25-17.
 Tabitha Newlin paced Cape Fear's offense, picking up 25 kills. Newlin got some help from  Sophia Wilson and her 21 assists. Newlin was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
Cape Fear is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record  this season. As for Ashley, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-11.
 Looking ahead, Cape Fear will challenge Cardinal Gibbons at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Ashley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
