Diller-Odell suffered their biggest defeat yet this season two weeks ago. They were beaten by Johnson-Brock 72-34. Diller-Odell's loss came about despite a quality game from Cooper Morgan, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. Tj Vitosh was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Superior ended up a good deal behind Deshler on Tuesday and lost 47-30.
Superior's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Mason Korb, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds, and Dayne Clark who scored nine points along with two steals.
Diller-Odell has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Superior, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Diller-Odell came up short against Superior when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 52-46. Can Diller-Odell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
