Ava Twa made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That stolen base was her first of the season.
