Saucon Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Robertson, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Robertson has scored at least 25% of Saucon Valley's points. Another player making a difference was Constantine Donahue, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame-Green Pond put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Bangor with a sharp 61-36 win. Given Notre Dame-Green Pond's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Bangor is ranked 336th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Saucon Valley pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
