Perhaps the best among them was Serene Exalant, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Exalant a new career-high. Emry Warren was another key player, going 6 for 12 on her way to 12 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Timber Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Ridge View was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 54-50 to Heathwood Hall Episcopal.

Harvey is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Janiya Carter, who posted 11 points along with six boards and five assists.

Timber Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Ridge View, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Timber Creek has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.2 boards per game.
