There's no place like home for Ardmore, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They slipped by the Shawnee Wolves 49-48 on Friday. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 34-13 loss the last time these two teams met.

K'DRIEN MILLER had a dynamite game, throwing for 114 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 60 yards and one touchdown.

Shawnee lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tate McClendon, who rushed for 173 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Braylon Lassiter was another key player, rushing for 78 yards and three TDs.

Ardmore's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Shawnee, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

After each having a week off, Ardmore and Tuttle will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The contest will give Ardmore their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Shawnee, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-10 loss against Duncan on the 19th.
