Salam is 5-0 against the Trojans since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Salam will head out on the road to face off against the St. Anthony Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Salam knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 19 contests -- so hopefully the Trojans like a good challenge.
Even though Kenosha Christian Life scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, Salam still came out on top. Salam snuck past the Eagles with a 65-61 win.
Meanwhile, St. Anthony had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They beat Cristo Rey Jesuit by the very same score they won with last week: 60-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Salam is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for St. Anthony, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
Everything came up roses for Salam against the Trojans when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 100-31 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Salam since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
