After soaring high against Owendale-Gagetown the last time the two teams met, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Madison Academy ended up forfeiting their game against they 0-2. Madison Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Owendale-Gagetown apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Madison Academy off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Owendale-Gagetown a 1-0 record.
Next week, Madison Academy take on Carsonville-Port Sanilac at 5:00 PM. Neither Madison Academy nor Carsonville-Port Sanilac could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one. As for Owendale-Gagetown, they will face of against Genesee.
