The Withrow Tigers kicked off their season on the road  on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They suffered a  tough 59-38 loss at the hands of Indianapolis Crispus Attucks. Withrow found out winning isn't easy when  you don't work as a unit and  post ten fewer assists than your opponent.
 Despite the  loss, Withrow saw an underclassman step up:  Chris Henry  scored 16 points along with 7  rebounds and 4  steals.
 Leading Indianapolis Crispus Attucks to victory were  Ron Rutland III and  Chris Hurt.  Rutland III  scored 18 points, while  Hurt  scored 17 points along with 4  steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which  Hurt has scored at least 25% of Indianapolis Crispus Attucks' points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dezmon Briscoe, who  scored 8 points along with 8  rebounds and 4  blocks.
 Withrow's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks,  the  win  got them back to even at 1-1.
 Withrow will be playing at home against Meadowdale at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, they will take on Center Grove at 8:15  p.m.  on Saturday. Center Grove has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three matchups.
